  • What kind of soybeans are used in Sengmyongmul Tofu?

    Sengmyongmul Tofu uses unprocessed, original state soybeans that have completed GMO inspections by the National Agricultural Cooperative Federation for domestic soybeans and by the Korea Soyfoods Association for imported soybeans.

  • Are the products sold at SANC Mall the same as those sold at the Sinangchon stores and the online mall?

    Yes. The products sold in stores and on the online mall are the same, with no differences in price, quality, or any other aspects.
    You can choose to purchase online or at an offline store based on your preference.

    Some bedding or under-air products that are sold out online may still be available at certain Sinangchon stores, so it is advisable to inquire at your nearest Sinangchon store about any items out of stock on SANC Mall.

  • What is the processing method for ore-infused fabric?

    For underwear products, ore material is applied in dot form onto cotton using specialized techniques.

    For bras, ore dots are processed onto the inner surface to enhance functionality.

    For panties, areas in contact with the skin, such as the abdomen and lower sections, are processed with ore-infused functional fabric, which offers excellent antibacterial and deodorizing effects and may help promote blood circulation.

  • How should I wash an ore product?

    It is recommended to wash with water only.
    When drying, keep it in the shade to regenerate the ore’s functionality and avoid direct sunlight.

  • Does washing products made with ore reduce their effectiveness?

    The properties of the ore are semi-permanent, so washing does not reduce its functionality.
    However, it is recommended to dry it in the shade.

  • How is Sengmyongmul Soy Sauce fermented differently from others?

    Unlike many soy sauces fermented in outdoor fermentation tanks, 100% fermented Sengmyongmul Soy Sauce is made using natural bedrock water from 200 meters underground.

    It undergoes natural fermentation for over six months in Korea’s first underground tunnel-aging facility, where classical music is played to help create a harmonious environment for fermentation.

    This environment maintains the optimal temperature and humidity for microbial fermentation and growth, and creates the best conditions for harmonious fermentation through the addition of classical music.

  • What dishes can it be used for?

    It is suitable for Korean, Japanese, Chinese, and other Asian cuisines.

    It is naturally fermented, has a unique umami flavor enhanced by the addition of honey, giving it a smooth sweetness that makes it delicious even when uncooked.

    It can be enjoyed even when consumed raw—perfect with sashimi, sushi, dumplings, and buchimgae (Korean-style pancakes).

  • What is HACCP?

    HACCP refers to a certification for food safety systems.

    Certified companies perform quarterly quality inspections for microorganisms, bacteria, E. coli, etc. as designated by the Ministry of Food and Drug Safety, and ensure origin labeling compliance, foreign substance control, and continuous hygiene and disinfection during packaging.

    Sengmyongmul Tofu is produced in a HACCP-certified facility.

  • What does Non-GMO soybeans mean?

    Non-GMO refers to ingredients that do not contain genetically modified organisms.
    GMO refers to genetically modified foods, and may potentially disrupt the ecological balance of plant life.

    Sengmyongmul Soy Sauce and Sengmyongmul Tofu are made using 100% non-GMO soybeans that have passed more than 100 quality tests.
